Payroll Accountant / Accounts Receivable- Full Time (NSW-HEAD OFFICE)

This is a dynamic role for an engaged and proactive individual, ready to hit the ground running and contribute to the organisation.  The role is available immediately as part of a small and friendly Head Office team located at Frenchs Forest.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the HO Accountant, your main responsibilities will include full management of all aspects of payroll including:

  • Maintain employee records and time management/leave system
  • Fortnightly payroll for around 150 employees
  • Interpret awards, agreements and contracts
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll tax, quarterly superannuation
  • Workers compensation
  • Calculating annual leave and long service leave accruals
  • Month end and year end processing and reporting
  • Daily Bank transactions update
  • Daily Cash Receipt Transactions
  • Weekly A/R Report to management
  • Weekly sales report to Franchise stores
  • Weekly and Monthly invoicing
  • Provide support where required to Finance Department

Skills and Experience

Experience with Microsoft GP and Excel necessary.

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP would be preferred
  • Experience with TM1/Cognos would be an advantage
  • minimum 2-3 years full end to end payroll experience and Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar Accounts receivable position
  • Experience in retail industry preferred
  • Excellent data entry speed and accuracy
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail and ability to multi task
  • Self-starter with a can do attitude
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in SAGE  MicrOpay, and Microsoft Office

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced casual Sales Person for our Mornington Store.

In this role you will be the first point of contact for customers and you will be responsible for promoting and selling products to new and existing customers. To be successful in this role you will need retail sales and proven sales track record. You will have excellent customer service skills, self-motivation and good team player.
